Let's use an example.

Georgio, opens a restaurant in New York called El Fideo. He wants a simple website to let folk know about El Fideo and he wants to publish regular recipes. We design a website based on Drupal to satisfy Georgio's palate.

One year later, the restaurant attracts a good client base and is well established, mainly due to Georgio's grandmother's legendary noqui and salsa recipes. Georgio has more capital to invest and wants to update his menu reguarly and keep a record of all folk who come to his restaurant. Georgio wants to use social networking to let more folk know about his Grandma's salsa.

We add the additional functionality via existing and custom modules to his website, re-theme the website to suit the new brand, feed in tweets from El Fideo's new Twitter account and publish a menu feed to the Facebook wall of the restaurant.

Georgio is happy with the speed of development and the low cost of the upgrade. What was once a simple content management system built on Drupal, is now a valuable business tool for Georgio and El Fideo, that utilizes social networking and community development features.
